Kaymen's First day at Kindergarten

Ok so I haven't blogged in almost a year. Pathetic I know. But I just don't seem to find the time to do so!

I was totally worried about Kaymen starting kindergarten! During kindergarten round-up he cried through the WHOLE thing. He didn't want me to leave him at all! Which is weird. Those of you who know Kaymen know that he is usually a little social bug. He has also been in daycare/preschool since he was about 3. The days leading up to him starting, he got more and more excited. He was going to be a "school-age" kid! He was going to get to ride the bus to school. But now that he was getting excited I started to realize that my baby is going to school! Jed and I would talk about it and tears would come to my eyes. But needless to say we both held it together just fine. Kaymen LOVED going. He did such a great job. Congratulations Kaymen on your big day! I love you more than you will ever know!!

Halloween

Kaymen was Venom for Holloween.  I'm not quite sure why, he is actually afraid of him on T.V.  But when you asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween he would say the black Spiderman.  So that's what he was.

Kaymen as Venom
He had a blast at his school party and parade.  He had so much fun he didn't want to go home with me!  He wanted to stay at school and continue having fun.  But as soon as he found out that we were going to Nana's house he calmed down a little bit and actually let me take him out of the school.

Kaymen's Preschool Class

We had a good Halloween, it was really mellow compared to previous Halloween's.  We usually cart Kaymen around all over the place.  But this year he got to spend Halloween with his dad.  So in the morning we went to his school for his party then we went to Nana's house (my mom's).  We played with Nana, then he went trick or treating with his dad.  So, Jed and I stayed home to answer the door for the all 5 trick or treaters we got then we headed over the his parents house for the annual Hall-oween party.  I love being around family, it's always fun.  Even when I don't have my little boy with me.

The Hall's

Here is an introduction to Us

Kaymen:  He's  little firecracker!  He's 4 years old and full of energy!  He is boy through and through.  He is also the cutest boy there is; we can't go anywhere without someone saying.. "ohh how cute".  You will see for yourself.  He loves to play with our dogs (Prissy and Roxy).  This past summer he has really enjoyed riding his bike and playing on his swing set.  He is also going to be grandpa's little slugger.  He's amazingly good at baseball for his age!!

His smile describes him
Jed:  He's the most wonderful husband anyone could ask for.  He goes to school full time and works.  He does dishes just about all the time and helps me make dinner at least 2 times a week.  He rubs my feet and shoulders whenever I ask him, sometimes he does it just to be nice.  He's caring and considerate.  He loves movies!  He could never watch enough movies.  He's a little kid at heart, I think that's why Kaymen and him get along so well.  But he is also someone that can take care of us.  Kaymen calls him Jeddy.  He's amazing!.

Our Wedding Day
Me:  I hate talking/writing about myself.  I don't know how to describe myself.  I'm a wife and mom first.  Everything else is second.  I'm very family oriented.  Without my family (all of them; Jed,Kaymen, Mom, Dad, brothers, sister, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins) I wouldn't be who I am today.  They have all helped me grow in some way or another.  I work as a pharmacy tech.  I love my job, but it's not something I'll do for the rest of my life.  I haven't decided what I want to to do.  I originally wanted to be a nurse, but I'm not so fond of the hours.  Pharmacist would be nice, but soooo much schooling.  When Jed is done with school I'll go back and figure things out.  I love who I am.  Well for the most part, we can all improve on something right??

New To This

Ok so I'm just starting this thing, and I'm slowly starting to get the hang of it.  I think it will be fun.  Since I don't have a journal, this can be a way for me to log stuff that has happened in our lives.  I'm kind of excited.  I don't have a whole lot of time to blog, but we'll see how it goes.  I'll write a new post kind of introducing the Halls in a later blog.  Just want people to know that I'm new to this so it may take a little bit to get used to.
